Add access groups
You may need to add access groups to authorize the newly created client application to access shipments.
Guide
- Go to the User Management page within Movement. You must be logged in to Movement to access the User Management page.
- Go to the client application you just created.
- First name is always Client. Last name is the name you provided for the application.
- Email should be
app-[X]@client-applications.project44.com
where[X]
is the ID of the application you just created.
- Click
Manage groups
. - Add the required access groups for the client application to access the necessary data. If the client application needs to access all shipments, add the Full Data Access group, which exists by default in the system.
- Click Save.
- Your client application should now have the necessary permissions to access shipments. For more information on how to manage Access Groups, see our Access Groups user guide.
Notes for use
- The tenant might have pre-configured access groups as "default for new users". In such cases, manual addition may not be necessary.
