Air Shipment Tracking - Business Flow Diagrams

Shipment State Transitions

  • The state transitions represent the lifecycle of an air shipment, starting from creation, moving through various phases (pre-carriage, main leg, post-carriage), and ending with delivery or completion. The states are designed to provide visibility into the shipment's journey and current status.
  • Please refer Shipment State Types, Air Event Types, Air Shipment Expiry Event Types in the Appendix for more details on the state types.
  • The shipment is marked COMPLETED when it reaches the final state after delivery or when it expires due to any expiry events.
