Ocean Sailing Schedules

project44's Sailing Schedules APIs return carrier-authoritative ocean sailing schedules so you can search for and select a sailing before a shipment is booked.

Why carrier-authoritative matters

Sailing Schedules is sourced directly from carrier-published schedule data, rather than being inferred from vessel-position or vessel-rotation data. That means:

  • No cap on transshipments — a route can have any number of transshipment points, not just one or two.
  • Inland legs, not just sea legs — a route can include rail or truck legs alongside its ocean legs, reflecting the carrier's actual door-to-door routing.
  • Cut-off times are available — each route can carry the carrier's cut-off times (e.g. vessel cut-off, documentation cut-off), which vessel-rotation-based schedules cannot provide.

Coverage

Carrier coverage expands incrementally: schedules are sourced directly from carriers with a live integration, with broader lane coverage filled in from aggregated carrier schedule data where a direct integration isn't yet in place. Available in both NA and EU.

Available today

  • Point-to-Point Schedules — search bookable point-to-point routes (sea and inland legs, unlimited transshipments, per-leg cut-off times) between an origin and a destination.
